Cape Cod -- part two! (and a birthday!)

More Cape pictures coming your way!

Madeline LOVES Dane and will repeat or mimic everything he does. (Evidence below)

Consequently, we caught her making this same face to a lady at the airport.

Maddie and Dane play really well together. Not all moments are like the below, but a lot are!

We did bubbles!

One morning it was a little overcast so we took the kids to the playground. Maddie played for about 30 minutes but then decided the playground was dirty. She asked for a wipe and then proceeded to clean the playground. OCD at its finest, I suppose.

A family of three for a few more months!

We got to go out and have a date night one night at this incredible restaurant in Chatham. IT was amazing!! Thank you Aunt Judi, Nana and Grandpa for letting us treat ourselves!

We tried to take some family pictures on the beach and....well....we didn't really get any good ones on our camera. I'm hoping Aunt Laura or grandpa have some because ours were pretty horrendous. This is my favorite...and it's only of Madeline.

Laura brought a little bribe for the kiddos and Maddie had her first gummy worm. She LOVED it!

Maddie traveled pretty well again on the way home, but it was a long day! We left the beach house at 9 and got back to our house at 10.
Dinner in the airport.

We had a three hour layover in Detroit so we rode the train though terminal A. Over and over and over.

Mommy and Maddie on the train (daddy was getting Starbucks.)

Our last flight was hilarious. There were three other people from our high school on our flight AND our pilot graduated with Chris and I. It was an SOHS reunion! Maddie even got her first pilot's wings. She thought this was very cool!

When we got home, our last family member went crazy! She was so happy we were home!

And now we're back to the real world, officially. Sigh.

Today is a big day for my little sister. She turns 21! Can you believe it? I cannot. She is studying abroad in Costa Rica so we cannot be together to celebrate. I'm so proud of you, Cedes! Happy birthday!
