We wrapped up our holiday break with a visit to great grandma's. We had to make cookies!
And eat all the dough!
There is NOTHING better than cookie dough. YUM.
Maddie pounded the pavement selling Girl Scout Cookies!
The Kindergarten Birthday scene is RAGING. We average 2/month right now. On this day we celebrated Ryder at Chuck E Cheese.
Then, Maddie woke up sick.
She was confirmed with Flu A, which meant she spent a solid week on the couch with Daisy.
Sydney missed playing with her sister and was pretty lonely. We check on the girls every night before we go to bed (usually to readjust Maddie who is always hanging off the bed.) and found Sydney holding a note that she had written for her sister.
Sydney is our night owl. She never goes to bed when we put her in there. We give her a little freedom to read or play quietly in her bed with a small toy. On this night, she wrote her sissy a note. And it was so cute.
Once Maddie started feeling better, we got out Ticket to Ride. The girls can play this for HOURS.
We got a phone call one night that Tia got engaged...and this was the girls reactions. I have no idea why Sydney started laughing and fell on the floor, but it's Sydney!
Maddie says she can't wait to be in the wedding!
January was a month of flu and colds and allergies...we weren't sad to see it go!
