February Fun!

Let's see - what's been going on?!

Maddie had her 8 year old well-check.

Turns out, she's just perfect. HA. A little petite, but still growing. The doctor did tell me that it's time to start reading "The Care and Keeping of You" with Maddie as 8 is a formative year and, while not likely, she could start puberty soon. Um, whaaaa? No, she's a baby. Leave her be.

But, alas, we bought it and read a bit every night together.

Sydney just wanted a picture. :)

Daisy is my shadow - she follows me everywhere throughout the day. She's a pretty sweet companion. When she's not eating every sock she can get her mouth on.

We have a new favorite restaurant - Rikishi. We eat there all the time!

We came back again with Tia. Glasses Girls!

We went to Laila's birthday party! She had a painting party at her house.

Sydney and Quinn (gymnastic teammates and classmates)

Maddie was the last kid still painting. She was very into it.

Laila and Sydney have been on the same gymnastics team for 2 years. They only see each other at gymnastics but are best buddies. They are always partnered up in the gym and adore each other.

We had our neighborhood progressive dinner which was so much fun! Love these ladies!

I let the girls each bring a friend home from school and somehow ended up with 5 girls in my car.

Daisy jumped on the bed so we're working with her to let her know that is NOT her space. She thinks she runs this house!

We had a snow day and went to All About Kids with the Smither's. Sydney and Sawyer (who she says is NOT her boyfriend) ran around playing together.

While Maddie and Emerson flipped all over the place.

My Secret Pal continues to bring the girls gifts each month.

Maddie had a sleeper over with a friend so we spent the night with Sydney. She loves snuggle time!

February has been fun so far!
