Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend- I know we did.

On Saturday, we celebrated with Chris's family. Here are a few photos.

On Sunday we celebrated with my family. I forgot my camera so I will have to get some of those photos and post them later. There has been a major baby boom in my family in the last year. We have six babies under 18 mos! And another on the way!

We made it!

Last week was a wild week for Madeline and I. Chris was traveling for work so we were home by ourselves. I had some help (ok, a lot of help!) from Robin, my sister and my mom. Thank you all so much! There were a few rough nights where Madeline was up most of the night with stomach pains so it was really great to have some one there to help.

Here are a few sweet pics of our angel. These are from my cell phone so they're a little blurry. Now that Chris is home, we'll be taking some better ones to post!

Maddie is too little for her jumper but she still likes sitting in it looking at and touching the toys.

The other night, Chris put Maddie down to wrap her in the blanket. She passed out immediately, so we let her sleep there for a bit. I was next to her on the couch so she wouldn't fall.

The taste of victory...and then the agony of defeat.

Our beloved Wildcats have had an incredible run through the tournament this year. Chris, Madeline and I have enjoyed cheering them on as they fought their way into the Final Four. We lost last night, but we're still proud of our team. Always a Wildcat fan!

Work & Daycare: BUSY week!

Well, I started back to work this week. It was pretty rough. To begin, we didn't get to do our half day daycare dry run b/c poor Maddie got sick over the weekend. She was up all Sunday evening coughing & gagging. Little miss had caught her first cold. (Not sure from where). So, her first day at daycare ended up being my second day back to work. Needless to say there were a lot of tears. Fortunately, Maddie seems to be doing well there. And, she's the cutest kid in her class (obviously) so I think she might get special attention. Or not. That's just what helps get me through the day! :)

This weekend Madeline spent a little bit of time with each set of her grandparents. We also cheered the CATS on to another tournament victory!!

My mom picked Maddie up from daycare early. I had sent her there in a sleeper. When I got to my mom's house she was in this new outfit. Hilarious!

Only a few days left...

I go back to work on Tuesday...which means it has been 12 weeks since Madeline arrived. I cannot believe we have a 3 month old! She is just absolutely the light of our lives!

On Monday, Chris and I are going to do a practice run. We're going to get up & take Madeline to daycare for a few hours. I'm hoping I will get all of my tears out Monday, since I don't want to cry at work. We shall see. I know Maddie will be in good hands, but it doesn't make it any easier! Fortunately, I've got a ton of great friends at work who will help me get through the first few days.

This last week, Maddie and I have been busy with lunch dates, play dates, and the like.

Madeline's newest thing is playing on her mat cooing and screaming. I tried to get it on video but she clams up when the camera comes out.
