September Travels

September was absolutely crazy - I literally am not even sure where it went.

Well, I kind of do. I was traveling for 13 days, out of 30. It was hectic to say the least.

I headed to Disney World first.
This has been a busy year for me - I have flown every other month... and still hate it. I wish I didn't. I typically spend the flight looking around at everyone sleeping, wondering why I am not. Ha!

I had a great time learning about Disney World and seeing some of my travel agent friends!

I came home, washed my clothes, re-packed and flew to New York for an Agent Education Program on the Disney Magic.

Laura and I are both Senior Travel Planners and were asked to go on this cruise together.
We had an absolute blast.

It was a Canadian cruise which is NOTHING that I ever would have picked for myself. But, it was incredible.

We stopped first in Halifax, Nova Scotia and visited Peggy's Cove and the Titanic Cemetery.

We stopped in Saguenay and the townspeople were incredible! They were singing, dancing and hugging us giving out samples of blueberry pie and maple taffy.

It was so so pretty!

We had an overnight in Quebec City, which I just loved. It reminded me so much of being in Western Europe.

I learned more about Disney Cruise Line, Canadian cruises and had a blast with a new friend!

While I was off playing working, Chris was at home doing ALL OF THE THINGS and being super dad.

I mean the timing could not have been any worse and he just pushed through and knocked it out of the park.

Daddy drop-off in the morning.

Doing his best on crazy hair day!

Getting them ready for Super Hero day!

He worked from home one day so that he could participate in the Fun Run for both girls.
Love these second grade girls!

Sydney tore up the dance floor at the Fun Run. Both Chris and her teacher sent videos of her shaking a leg that had me cracking up. She is the life of the party, no doubt.

They celebrate their survival with lots and lots of ice cream!

Super Dad!!

As for me, I promised the girls they could go on my next trip with me. I don't think I can get away with leaving them at home for any type of Disney trip for awhile!

Sydney Girl is FIVE!

I blinked. And then, suddenly, our baby, our littlest, our last ... turned FIVE. And she starts college tomorrow. Ha!

Sydney came in like a wrecking ball and she has never looked back!

From the womb, she was so incredibly active.  My OB even commented, "You've got a wild one."

And she was. And still is.

Always climbing, always jumping, always running.

Sydney is the wild card in our family. She's unlike the three of us - she's spontaneous and you truly cannot guest what she's thinking or what her next move is. It makes life exciting!

We made the decision to start her in Kindergarten a year early and it's been the best decision for her. She loves school and all of the friends she's made. Her teacher describes her as "fun and social."

When I think of Sydney, I think of SWEET. She never hesitates to tell me that she loves me or if she thinks I like pretty. She is kind and a good friend.

Sydney, you are an absolute LIGHT in my life. You make me laugh every single day and I am so so thankful for you. For your humor, for your spunk, for your love.

Happy birthday!!

Huber's

Crazy schedules this Fall almost prevented this trip from happening, but it worked out! We took our annual trip to Huber's for apple picking and had so much fun! It was a gorgeous day and the kids had a blast picking apples, riding the tractor and being together.

We always feed the fish first.

Then, we take a tractor to the orchard.

We pick apples and then make the kids take a bunch of pictures!!

Everyone eats at least one apple while waiting for the tractor to come back.

They've been taking pics in this same spot for five years!

No, but seriously.

What a fun day with our friends!
