Hollywood Studios - the girls first Tower of Terror ride!!

One of my clients (and now friend!) owns a company so I asked her to make some matching t shirts for us for our Disney trip. We worked together and designed a shirt for each of us. They were a huge hit. We got multiple compliments on our Star Wars shirts...at where else, the Star Wars park: Hollywood Studios!

We hit the ground running and rode Toy Story Mania several times.

Then...I got the girls on Tower of Terror.
BEFORE.

While we waited for our elevator, the girls were a little nervous.

By the time we actually got ON the elevator, they were both crying. Sydney was crying so hard the worker asked if we needed to get off. We were on, we were buckled...so we went for it.
They didn't love it.
HA!!

The rest of the day went much better!

The next morning, we woke up and had breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno, a short walk from our hotel. This breakfast featured Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. The girls loved it!

Animal Kingdom - Post Pandora

We kicked off our Disney trip to Animal Kingdom - we were excited to see the new "land" that opened earlier in the year - Pandora.

Y'all. It was straight up bananas. We got to the park a full hour before it opened...and there were already hundreds of people there.

Flight of Passage is the HOT ride at Disney - a lot of people say it's one of the best rides in the world.   We went with the masses into Pandora and we made the girls stay in the stroller so we wouldn't lose them.

I wish I had better pictures of the land because it's pretty incredible.

After riding the new attractions, we saw the Festival of the Lion King and then headed for lunch at Tusker House.  There was a little pop-up shower while we waited for a table.

Tusker House is a fun character meal with Safari Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy.

After lunch, we took a ride on Kilimanjaro Safari for some animal spotting.

Then we took the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch for some animal petting!

We met Rafiki!

We took a little rest in a room with headphones. We had no idea what the room was for but it was cool, dark and so we sat for a minute. Ha!

We did Everest.
Maddie rode it once.

But not twice. Ha!

We ALL rode Dinosaur.

We all TRIED to watch It's Tough to be a Bug, but for the third consecutive visit, I had to evacuate mid-show. It was still a bit too much for little Sydney. On our way out, we found Flik!

And did some posing while we waited.

Turns out, Triceratops Spin was more her speed. She did it about 5 times!

It rained again so we took a break under cover at the Boneyard.

The rain passed and we settled in for Rivers of Light.

By the time we got back to the room, the girls were beat! They were asleep in about 14 seconds!
