A Disney Day of "Rest."

After full days at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, I had scheduled a day of rest for us. (And Chris said, "amen.")

We took the kids to Downtown Disney Disney Springs for a little shopping.

There was a surprise princess at World of Disney and we were SO excited to see that it was Snow White! We hadn't met her yet!

We did a little pin trading.

And some lego-building.

Some dino-digging...

We had lunch a T-Rex Cafe and after a long wait for the food, the kids got to watch a little YouTube.
They hadn't had any tv for 3 days and you would honestly think it had been a life time! Ha!

On the way back to the bus, we lost one.
Man down.

We came back and the kids got in the pool.

After getting cleaned up we took a bus and the monorail to the Contemporary Resort.

Sydney in the background. I can't.

We had a fun dinner at Chef Mickey's.

The kids thought Pluto was hilarious.

And that, was our Disney "rest" day. We still squeezed in a lot!

Epcot: My feet are running out batteries!

If you thought Sunday was crazy, Monday we took it to the next level. We opened AND closed Epcot. We were there for over 13 hours!

We arrived at 8 for our breakfast reservation at Askerhaus.

We snapped a few photos and then headed to Norway in the World Showcase, so that we could make our reservation time for our princess breakfast.

This is a yummy breakfast that features Belle and three visiting princesses. For this day, we got to see Belle, Cinderella, Aurora and Ariel!

The HOT attraction at Epcot right now is Frozen Ever After (along with the Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet) so we were all dressed up ready to meet the Arendale princesses!

 Big sister Elsa

 Little Sister Anna

Epcot is Sydney's favorite park. Typically considered an "adult park," I usually have to encourage my friends to give it a try with younger kiddos. Outside of Frozen, there's also the Finding Nemo ride and a huge aquarium. My kids LOVE walking around the aquarium.

There were a few attractions that were "MUSTS" for this trip. One of these, for Sydney, was meeting Sadness and Joy. She watches Inside Out like some people watch Friends. Or, The Office. Like seriously, she LOVES the movie.

(Hudson was riding a ride with his parents so we had Sloane)

It was a beautiful day!

We ran into a few more characters!

Then, we had a great dinner at Garden Grill!

Midway through dinner, Sydney looked at me very worried and said, "Mama, my feet are out of batteries." It took me a bit to realize she'd meant her food had fallen asleep. What a funny way to describe that tingling sensation! She had taken off her shoes and was literally so worried her feet weren't going to work any more.

Then Pluto came by so she wasn't wearing shoes. (I promise it was only for a few minutes! Ha!)

We rode a few more rides and then watched Illuminations.

And, with 13 hours of Epcot under our belt, we called it a day.
